by - Senior Editor -

As the 2023 NFL season approaches, fans and analysts alike are eagerly anticipating the action that will unfold in the NFC North. With four teams vying for the divisional championship, the odds are sure to be in constant flux as the season progresses.

Let's take a closer look at the NFC North winner odds and what they might mean for each team.

At the top of the list is the Detroit Lions, who come in at +140 to win the division. This may come as a surprise to some fans, given that the Lions have not won a divisional championship since 1991. However, there are reasons to believe that Detroit may be poised for a breakthrough. The team has made significant changes in recent years, including hiring a promising head coach and general manager, as well as drafting several promising young players.

Next up are the Minnesota Vikings, who come in at +300. Minnesota has been a consistent presence in the playoffs in recent years. However, they have yet to win a Super Bowl, and their odds of winning the NFC North this year may be hindered by some key departures.

The Chicago Bears come in at +350, slightly behind the Vikings in the odds.

The Bears have struggled to find a consistent signal-caller in recent years, and it remains to be seen whether newcomer Justin Fields can provide the spark the team needs to win the division for their diehard fans.

Finally, the Green Bay Packers round out the list at +400. This may come as a surprise to some fans, given that the Packers have won the NFC North for the past two seasons. However, the team is facing significant uncertainty with star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who has yet to commit to returning to Green Bay this year. If Rodgers does not return, the Packers' odds of winning the NFC North will likely take a significant hit. However, if he does come back, Green Bay remains a formidable contender in the division.

Overall, the NFC North appears to be shaping up as a highly competitive division in 2023. Fans will have to wait and see which team comes out on top, but one thing is for sure – the race for the NFC North crown is sure to be an exciting one.
