Another member of the Bears is back for another go.

The Chicago Bears announced on Friday that they have re-signed cornerback Artie Burns to a one-year deal.

Solid move by the Bears as he is a talented special teams players and can contribute in the secondary as the nickel back. He is still only 25 years old.

In 2020, he was with the Bears but tore his ACL at practice during training camp and missed the entire season spending it on injured reserve.

He appeared in 10 games and had eight tackles in 2019.

Burns spent his first found seasons with the Steelers appearing in 58 games with 32 starts recording 149 tackles, four interceptions, and 27 pass breakups.

The Steelers selected him in the first round (25th overall) of the 2016 NFL draft out of Miami.
