Matt Nagy spotted at Justin Fields' Pro Day |
The Chicago Bears will be rolling with journeyman Andy Dalton as their starting quarterback in 2021.
However, the veteran signal-caller is on a one-year deal, and the team needs to find a franchise quarterback, possibly in the upcoming draft. Most analysts didn't think that the Bears have any shot with Ohio State Justin Fields at the No. 20 overall pick. However, there have been reports of him possibly falling some in the draft process, plus Bears coach Matt Nagy was in attendance during his Pro Day at Ohio State on Wednesday. According to reports, the New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and Bears were there watching Fields. Where will @justnfields go? ??#GoBuckeyes #DevelopedHere pic.twitter.com/cdeWra23rZ Is this just the Bears doing their due diligence if Fields falls to them at No. 20 overall, or are they contemplating trading up for the star quarterback? It should be interesting to watch it all unfold for the Bears in the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft.
