Cubs hosting World Series ring ceremony in Iowa

DES MOINES, IA - The Iowa Cubs will host a 2016 World Series Championship Ring Ceremony on Friday, April 28 at Principal Park as part of the pre-game festivities prior to the 7:08 game against Colorado Springs.

Iowa Cubs radio broadcaster Randy Wehofer will host the on-field ceremony as Chicago Cubs Director of Player Development Jarod Madison presents Iowa Cubs players and field staff with Championship rings.

Rob Zastryzny and Jake Buchanan are among the group of players receiving rings on Friday. Iowa Cubs Principal Owner Michael Gartner, as well as President and General Manager Sam Bernabe will also receive rings in recognition of their lasting contributions to the organization.
