According to MLB insider Jon Heyman, the Cubs are set to part ways with game strategy coach Craig Driver and bullpen coach Chris Young. Driver and Young have been part of the Cubs since after the 2019 season, coinciding with the beginning of David Ross' managerial tenure. This move suggests the Cubs are seeking fresh perspectives and ideas from the coaching staff, rather than implying poor performance this season.
