Flu bug hitting Cubs |
The Chicago Cubs are off to a 1-1 start to spring but health-wise not as well.
Cubs manager David Ross will miss his third straight game Monday sidelined with the flu. He is scheduled to be looked at by the Cubs medical staff today. Andy Green will be the acting manager again today versus the Seattle Mariners. Not the way that Cubs fans or Rossy wanted to start his managerial career but there is plenty of time to rest and get well before the regular season. According to reports, Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo is walking around the clubhouse with a surgical mask trying not to get the flu bug. Cubs veteran starter Jose Quintana missed his workout yesterday with the flu. Hopefully, this doesn't impact anyone else and everyone feels much better soon.
