Jake Arrieta puts his house on the market |
The Chicago Cubs' 2017 season is over after Thursday's night 11-1 loss to the Dodgers.
Cubs standout pitcher Jake Arrieta is headed to free agency this offseason and already has a realtor sign outside his house on Friday morning. In 2017, Arrieta had a 14-10 record with 3.53 ERA, 163 strikeouts, and 1.22 WHIP. It appears very unlikely that the Cubs will be able to re-sign him because his agent Scott Boras is looking for a massive seven-year contract with potential suitors. It was a great ride watching Arrieta dominate the National League the last few years. Check out the picture of the sign below. Yeah, star Cubs pitcher Jake Arietta probably not returning.
