The Chicago Cubs are trying to get off to a fast start in the road series against the Philadelphia Phillies on Friday night.

In the second inning, the Cubs scored four runs with two runs on a two-run single up the middle by Nick Madrigal and followed up by a two-run double by Nico Hoerner, who has just returned from his IL stint.
