Chicago Cubs first baseman Jared Young crushed his first career major league homer of of Aaron Nola in the third inning of Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

It was his first major league at-bat of the season, which traveled an estimated 425 feet with an exit velocity of 109.4 MPH.

“Whatever the skipper wants," Young said to reporters in pregame. "When I met with him right when I showed up, I said, ‘I’m here to play. Here to help the team win. Whatever you need from me is what I’m gonna be here to do. Just ready for the opportunity.”

The Cubs are down 5-1 in the third inning.
