Great news for Bulls fans.

Standout guard Zach LaVine has re-signed with Chicago on a five-year deal worth $215.2 million, including a player option on year five.

This is a max contract for the 27-year-old star player and the largest contract that the organization has ever paid for one player.

“I’ve been here for the last five years,” LaVine said in April. “I’ve really enjoyed my time. I think the city, and I hope everybody understands how much I care about the Bulls and what I’ve done for the city.

LaVine averaged 24.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game last season, helping the team into postseason action. He is a two-time All-Star performer in 2021 and 2022.

Big time move by the organization as they keep trying to build a squad to content each season for postseason play and beyond.
