CHICAGO — Trade rumors surrounding Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson populated throughout the NFL news junkets on Tuesday, as the Pro Bowl wideout is reportedly "unhappy" about his contract. Now in his seventh professional season, Robinson, who joined the Bears in 2018, is in the final year of his contract and apparently not pleased with the extension talks he has been having with the Bears' front office.
Robinson removed all Bears references from his social media accounts on Tuesday, leading to speculation that he wanted to be traded. Robinson's agent, Brandon Parker, released a statement to the media, claiming that no trade demands have been made. Parker did admit, however, that Robinson is unhappy that the Bears are unwilling to pay him "market value" for a wide receiver of his caliber. However Robinson, who is in the last year of his contract, is unhappy that Chicago has been unwilling to pay him market value for wide receivers.
