Bears announce inactive list for Bears-Bucs

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Bears announced their inactive list for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Bucs.

The six players are inactive are quarterback Tyson Bagent, running back D'onta Foreman, wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown, defensive back Josh Blackwell, defensive lineman Khalid Kareem and offensive lineman Nate Davis.

Davis is active because of a death in the family, and backup Ja'Tyre Carter could make his first NFL start in right guard today.

With the injuries to Kyler Gordon and Josh Blackwell, look for Greg Stroman to play heavy snaps at nickel corner. He was just called up from the practice squad.

Foreman and St. Brown are both healthy scratches from the lineup.

One interesting tidbit is that receiver Velus Jones is active and could play a significant role in special teams. The Bears could use a spark in special teams in his season debut today.

The Bears and Bucs will face off at 1noonCT on FOX.
