Bears announce players out against Lions |
The Chicago Bears announced on Sunday in pregame their inactive list for the contest with the Detroit Lions.
Six players in total are out, including receivers N'Keal Harry and Velus Jones Jr, defensive backs Kindle Vildor (ankle) and Harrison Hand, defensive lineman Al-Quadin Muhammad (knee), and offensive linemen Teven Jenkins (hip injury in practice) and Ja'Tyre Carter. Harry and Jones are healthy scratches today. This is the second straight game that Jones has been a healthy inactive player. For the season, Jones has three catches for 24 yards and a touchdown. Harry has four catches for 44 yards and one touchdown in three games this season. The active Bears receivers are Mooney, St. Brown, Claypool, Pringle, and Pettis. The good news is that No. 1 cornerback Jaylon Johnson is active today with his oblique issue, and the bad is that Jenkins is a tough loss for the Bears offensive line that has been picking up the rushing yards of late. Michael Schofield will likely start in Jenkins' place at right guard. The Bears and Lions will kick off at noon CT Sunday from Soldier Field.
