The Chicago Bears have re-signed veteran quarterback Nathan Peterman to their active roster according to multiple reports on Thursday. Not sure if some other move fell through for the Bears, making them cut and re-sign Peterman a day later. Peterman was the backup quarterback through the first two games of the 2023 season. He completed 14-25 passes for 139 yards, one touchdown, and one interception last season. The Bears once against have three quarterbacks on the roster with Peterman, Justin Fields and Tyson Bagent. Some clarity on Nathan Peterman's release from the 53 yesterday/being re-signed today.
