A solid round two for the Da Bears.

The Chicago Bears select former Utah cornerback Jaylon Johnson with the 50th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on Friday night.

He has battled several injuries in college including playing this past season with a torn labrum but still was a second-team All-American in 2019. He was the best cornerback arguably left in the draft and some analysts had him as high as the third-highest rated cornerback in the 2019 draft class.

The Bears previously selected tight end Cole Kmet with the No. 43 pick earlier in the second round.
