Justin Fields ruled out with injury against Vikings |
Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields has left Sunday's game with an apparent hand injury.
Fields was holding his right hand after a sack in the third quarter by Vikings defensive lineman Danielle Hunter. He walked to the sidelines and then went into the medical tent for the training staff to check him out. He was holding his right wrist in pain. He is now walking gingerly to the locker room with trainers placing a towel over his right hand. They will likely do some X-rays on his right hand/wrist. Fields was 6-of-10 for 58 yards and an interception before the injury. Backup rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent is now in the game with 8:07 left in the third quarter. We will update you when we have more information on Fields' injury status. Update: The Bears announce QB Justin Fields has a right hand injury. His return is questionable. Update 2: Fields has been ruled out for the game. If it’s broken, we are talking a month-plus. A worst case scenario in what has been a worst case season. #Bears Justin Fields (right hand) has been ruled out vs. Vikings pic.twitter.com/68ZilB7kJr
