Legendary Bears coach Mike Ditka turns 79 |
Former Chicago Bears head coach Mike Ditka turned 78 on Thursday.
Ditka won an NFL title as a player, an assistant coach, and a head coach. He was enshrined into the NFL Hall of Fame in 1988. As an NFL player, he had an impressive 427 receptions for 5,812 yards with 43 touchdowns. He was a two-time NFL coach of the year (1985, 1988) and Super Bowl Champion (XX) as an NFL head coach.
