NFL analyst calls out Bears, Chase Claypool

NFL analyst Kyle Brandt went off on the Bears after their lackluster performance in the rivalry loss against the Packers.

Brandt also seems to call out receiver Chase Claypool who had zero catches on two targets and did a pretty lazy job of blocking, including getting Darnell Mooney destroyed on a screen pass.

“There is a player for the Chicago Bears who I’m not going to mention, I don’t know what he’s doing out there, he certainly doesn’t look like he wants to be out there," Brandt said.

“He’s a name. He’s a guy, you know. I’m not gonna mention his name because I don’t have to. If you watched five seconds of this game, you know who I’m talking about. I don’t know what this player’s doing but I know he’s not trying, and I don’t know if he’s gonna be out there much longer. Unbelievable disappointing day for the Chicago Bears.”

Bears head coach Matt Eberflus talked to the media about the lack of perimeter blocking by Claypool and others.

"You all saw the plays that ... and again, the perimeter blocking needed to improve for all of us," Eberflus said. "And we're gonna get that, work hard to get that done."
