Report: Bears have 'significant interest' in free-agent QB Andy Dalton |
The Chicago Bears fans are hopeful for a big-time acquisition at quarterback this offseason with either Russell Wilson or Deshaun Watson.
However, another signal-caller is gaining some traction on Monday as NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Bears are among several teams that have interest in free agent Andy Dalton. “Andy Dalton, I know, is generating significant interest from a couple of quarterback-needy teams,” Rapoport said. “One of them, the Chicago Bears, who have basically, it seems, been interested in every quarterback.” In 2020, Dalton threw for 2,169 yards with 14 passing touchdowns and 8 interceptions for a QBR of 53.8. Following the Dalton rumors and reports should be interesting to follow as it appears that the Bears are keeping a close eye on the veteran quarterback. Here is the video pic.twitter.com/LbTSkaFP6K
