There is finally some roster news!
The Chicago Bears announced on Monday that they have signed veteran defensive tackle Mike Pennel and in a corresponding move released linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu. In eight seasons over 101 games, Pennel registered 176 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss and two sacks. He played in 10 games and registered 21 tackles for the Atlanta Falcons last season. He also had a stint with the Bears but was released on Aug 31. Attaochu signed with the Bears last season but wasn't much of a factor as he sustained a season-ending pectoral injury during week five action.
