Two Bears named Pro Bowlers

by - Senior Editor -

Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack and kick-off returner Cordarelle Patterson were named to the 2021 Pro Bowl on Monday, as announced by the NFL.

Mack has 44 tackles including nine for loss, 8 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, three pass deflections, and an interception in 14 games this season.

This is the sixth straight Pro Bowl for Mack and three in a row with the Bears.

Patterson has been very versatile this season with 21 receptions for 132 yards, 60 rushes for 214 yards and a touchdown, 32 kick returns for 942 yards, and that memorable 104-yard touchdown return (longest in Bears history).

His 29.44 kickoff return average leads the NFL.

This is the fourth overall Pro Bowl for Patterson including the second straight year with the Bears.

For the actual Pro Bowl game, there won't be one this season because it was canceled back in October because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
