The Chicago Bears are a few pieces away from being explosive offensively in 2023.
Free agent running back Saquon Barkley had a career-high 1,312 rushing yards with 10 touchdowns and added 57 receptions this season with the New York Giants.
"The Chicago Bears will likely lose feature back David Montgomery to free agency," betting analyst Adam Thompson said. "They still have Khalil Herbert, but they also have, by far, the most salary cap space to make a splash this offseason. Adding Barkley would only help QB Justin Fields and the perennially-struggling Chicago offense."
The Bears have the third-highest odds of signing Barkley this offseason according to Thompson:
