Former Bears All-Pro from Super Bowl team charged with murder |

Former Chicago Bears player Michael Richardson has been charged with murder, misconduct involving weapons, and a felony warrant in Arizona according to police reports. Richardson was locked up Wednesday in connection with the shooting death of 47-year-old Ronald Like on Tuesday in Phoenix. He had been locked up twice previously in 2020 for alleged drug possession. Richardson was an All-Pro cornerback and Super Bowl champion with the Bears in 1985. He was a member of the Bears from 1983-1988 during his first six years in the league and had a rapping part in the Bears 'Super Bowl Shuffle' video. "I'm LA Mike and I play it cool. They don't sneak by me because I'm no fool." He played in college at Arizona State and a member of their Sun Devil Hall of Fame. Richardson had been convicted of over 20 drug offenses since retirement from football.
