by Cubs Media Relations -

MESA, Ariz. – The Chicago Cubs today formalized the 2025 Spring Training schedule, which begins Thursday, February 20 at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Ariz., against the Los Angeles Dodgers, followed by the Sloan Park opener Friday, February 21 against the Dodgers in Mesa, Ariz. The schedule includes two exhibition games in Tokyo, Japan, on Saturday, March 15 vs. the Hanshin Tigers and Sunday, March 16 vs. the Yomiuri Giants. A total of 17 spring training games—including the two exhibition games in Tokyo and the Spring Breakout game vs. Los Angeles-A.L. will air on the Marquee Sports Network. Ten games will air on 670 the Score.

The club’s 25-game schedule consists of 17 games at Sloan Park, including two exhibition games against the Atlanta Braves March 24 and 25, and eight Cactus League road games. The abbreviated spring campaign will take a hiatus when the team heads to Japan in mid-March. The trip to Tokyo includes the two exhibition games and two previously announced regular season games against the Los Angeles Dodgers on March 18 and 19.

The Cubs and White Sox play two times this spring – Saturday, February 22 at Sloan Park and Friday, March 7 at Camelback Ranch in Glendale.

MLB’s Spring Breakout games return to the Spring Training schedule for the second-straight season. This year, the Chicago prospects will participate in two games: the Cubs will play the Dodgers prospects in Glendale, Ariz., on Thursday, March 13, before hosting the Los Angeles Angels prospects on Saturday, March 15 at Sloan Park.

Games on Marquee Sports Network can be also seen on the Marquee Sports App and WatchMarquee.com. Radio games can be heard on 670 the Score, the Cubs Radio Network, and streamed on the Audacy app.
