Counsell says you are getting an "absolute force" in Kyle Tucker

Chicago Cubs manager Craig Counsell had high praise for three-time All-Star outfielder Kyle Tucker during an interview on Friday on the Spiegel & Holmes Show.

“You’re getting just a force every day, with four or five plate appearances that’s just an absolute force,” Counsell said. “And it doesn’t matter the pitcher, it doesn’t matter the matchup, the other team is scared to death for him to come up and you know he can impact the game. It’s that consistency of really good offense that players like Kyle provide.”

Tucker’s track record speaks for itself: a career .274 batting average, 125 home runs, and 417 RBIs.

He will undoubtedly be among the most sought-after free agents after the 2025 season.
