Pat Hughes receives another Hall of Fame honor

Chicago announcer Pat Hughes has been selected for the 2025 Cactus League Hall of Fame class.

Hughes will be honored during a ceremony on Sunday, March 9, at Sloan Park.

Joining Hughes in the 2025 Hall of Fame class are Trevor Hoffman, longtime clubhouse manager Mike Murphy, and Ron Pies.

“Congratulations to the members of the 2025 Cactus League Hall of Fame class,” said Bridget Binsbacher, Executive Director of the Cactus League. “The Hall of Fame celebrates those who have made exceptional contributions to spring training in Arizona. Whether on the field, in the broadcast booth, or behind the scenes, each of these individuals has played a vital role in the growth of the Cactus League.”

Congratulations to Hughes on yet another prestigious honor.

A fan favorite among Cubs fans, he continues to leave a lasting legacy in baseball broadcasting.
