WATCH: Ian Happ, Christopher Morel crush back-to-back homers against Cardinals

A home run derby broke out at Busch Stadium for the Cubbies.

Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ and designated hitter Christopher Morel hit back-to-back homer against the Cardinals on Sunday.

It was Happ's 15th homer (439 feet) and Morel's 18th homer (394 feet) of the season. This is Morel's first multi-homer game of his career.

It was the second time today that the Cubs hit back-to-back dingers (PCA and Nido). This was the first time that the Cubs have had a pair of back to back dingers since May 2019 against the Astros.

The Cubs so far have six homers on the afternoon and 100 homers in the first half of the season.
