Cubs president of baseball operations Jed Hoyer addressed the media from spring training talking about the roster decisions ahead of the MLB Tokyo Series, his impressions of Gage Workman and Matt Shaw and much more.
“It is hard to evaluate Spring Training,” Hoyer said, “but ultimately, that was how we made the decision. I thought Keegan threw well here, but ultimately we felt like some guys (Brown, Wicks, Keller) were better.” Watch the pre-game interview below:
