Bears sign one-year deal with speedy WR |
Speed is very coveted in the NFL.
The Chicago Bears have signed speedy veteran receiver Ted Ginn Jr. to a one year deal on Thursday according to multiple reports, including the NFL Network. The team was addressing speed on the offensive side of the ball during the offseason and found it with fifth-round draft pick Darnell Mooney and now Ginn. In 2019, Ginn had 30 catches for 421 yards (14 ypc) in 16 games with the New Orleans Saints. The 35-year old had the same amount of 40-yard plays (2) as the entire Bears offense did last season. Not the worse move to bring in a veteran speed burner and seeing what he has left in the tank. The Bears have added three WR in the past week. Here are their 40 times:

At 34 years old, Ted Ginn averaged 14 yards per reception last year. He can still run ???? https://t.co/ibrFLCP09o
The Chicago Bears continue to be run by a ship of idiots.

Of the 126 players who had at least 50 targets last season, only seven had a higher drop rate than Ted Ginn’s 11.9%. The good news is it’ll be harder to drop passes with Mitch missing him by 10 yards.

I'm waiting for the news to drop that the Chicago Bears have agreed to terms with Marques Colston.
Ted Ginn is the answer to no one's prayers.
