DJ Moore reacts to trade of Justin Fields: "Business is business"

by - Senior Editor -

Bears star receiver DJ Moore knew that his friend and quarterback Justin Fields might be traded this offseason.

It finally happened as Fields was shipped off to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a conditional 2025 sixth-round draft pick.

Moore understands that it's just business.

"Whoever we get, I’m going to be excited to work with them," Moore told 670 The Score's Mully and Haugh on Thursday. "Business is business. Nobody wanted [Justin Fields] to go. But at the end of the day, that’s what the organization made the plans to do.”

Moore just wants the new quarterback to come into work and be their own person.

"I hope he just comes in and gets ready to work," Moore said. "You can't worry about the legacy of Justin Fields. You got to go out there and worry (about your own thing)."
