Dodgers reportedly "exploring" trade options including Seiya Suzuki |
The Chicago Cubs are making waves this offseason, highlighted by the blockbuster trade in getting outfielder Kyle Tucker.
Are more moves on the way from Jed Hoyer and Co.? Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that the Los Angeles Dodgers are "exploring" a number of trade options, including Cubs right fielder Seiya Suzuki. "... the World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers are exploring a number of intriguing right-handed hitting alternatives. The potential options, according to sources briefed on the team's discussions, include infielder Ha-Seong Kim in free agency and Chicago Cubs right fielder Seiya Suzuki, Chicago White Sox center fielder Luis Robert Jr. and others in trade," he reported. Speculation about Suzuki’s future has been brewing. His agent previously stated Suzuki might not have signed with the Cubs had they known he’d be relegated to a full-time designated hitter role. Defensively, Suzuki struggled at times this past season, fueling the trade rumors. In 2024, Suzuki posted solid offensive numbers, hitting .283 with 21 home runs and 73 RBIs. As the offseason unfolds, the Suzuki trade rumors will likely continue, and we will keep you updated on the latest at CubsHQ.com.
