WATCH: Matt Eberflus' epic fail phone call with David Kaplan |
Chicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus was interviewed on the radio via ESPN 1000 on Monday morning.
However, the embattled coach lost service three times during the tense call. "If this isn't a crisis, I don't know what it is," David Kaplan said during the interview. "So I ask you again, is this a crisis right now that's going on at Halas Hall (Bears facility), and how does it get addressed?" Eberflus began responding, mentioning the team's positive moments on tape, but before he could finish, the call dropped for the third time. "We're looking at this week and this week only, and we do have evidence on tape that we've played good football during the course of this year," Eberflus began. "We've got to pull on those experiences, and…" Kaplan seized the moment with an epic slam. "Coach, your cellphone is as bad as the offense right now," he said. David Kaplan to Matt Eberflus: "Coach, your cellphone is as bad as the offense right now."
