Tough news for the Northsiders.

Chicago Cubs closer Adbert Alzolay has suffered a setback in his rehab from his right flexor strain according to Cubs manager Craig Counsell on Monday.

Alzolay didn't bounce back well from his last Triple-A outing and has been sent back to Chicago to be examined again.

He was placed on the 15-day IL on May 13 with the injury.

In 18 games this season, he has a 4.67 ERA, four saves, 13 strikeouts, and six homers allowed in 17 1/3 innings.
