The Chicago Cubs have reportedly put infielder David Bote on the paternity list (max of 3 games) on Tuesday afternoon after his wife gave birth to their third child recently.

Bote is batting .295 with a homer and 9 RBIs this season. He is expected to be back on Wednesday and his son Sullivan and wife are doing well according to reports.

In a corresponding move, the team will call up lefty reliever Randy Rosario to help out against the lefty-heavy Dodgers.

Rosario has a 5.14 ERA (4 ER/7.0 IP) in seven relief appearances with the Cubs this season.

In other Cubs roster news, Addison Russell will report to the Iowa Cubs tomorrow for a week to begin his journey back to the majors.
