Chicago Cubs stars Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant were mic'd up by ESPN during six innings of Monday's 9-4 win against the Anaheim Angels.
In the third inning, Rizzo had the count to 2-2 during his at-bat and continued a conversation with ESPN commentator Jessica Mendoza. “I’m doing some math in my head what (pitcher Matt Andriese) is gonna throw," Rizzo said. Mendoza added," What do you got?" Rizzo answered by saying, "I have no idea. I wish I knew. Someone bang (a trash can) for me." WOW. Mic drop for the win for Rizzo over the Astros. "I'm doing some math in my head about where he is going to throw. ... Someone bang for me."
