WATCH: Brennen Davis smokes three-run homer vs. Padres

The future is bright for the Cubs in centerfield.

The Cubs No. 1 prospect Brennen Davis smacked an opposite-field three-run homer to put the Cubs up 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning against the Padres on Saturday.

It looked so easy for Davis to extend his arms and punish the baseball for a homer. Davis will start at Triple-A this season but look for him to make an impact in the big leagues by midseason for the Northsiders.
