WATCH: Cubs smack back-to-back homers to start ballgame |
The Chicago Cubs continue to show some hot bats this spring.
Newcomers Eric Sogard and Jake Marisnick were inserted in the first two spots in the lineup on Sunday against the Reds and proceeded to hit back-to-back homers to start the contest. The two solo homers put the Cubs up 2-0 to lead off the contest. This is great news to see two of the Cubs' free agent signing hitting well before Opening Day. Marisnick has been very impressive as he has three homers in three games this spring.
