First of many hopefully for a veteran player.

Chicago Cubs infielder Jonathan Villar smacked his first home run as a Cubs player with a solo shot in left-center bleachers in bottom of the third inning on Tuesday night.

The homer put the Cubs up 1-0 against the Pirates. It was also Villar's first homer at Wrigley Field and the 99th of his career.
