CHICAGO — Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras consistently makes time for his fans, as he has a big heart and is an admirable humanitarian. In the buildup to Thursday's game at Wrigley Field between the Chicago Cubs and the St. Louis Cardinals, Contreras showcased why he is a fan favorite by making a young boy's day.

Setting the stage for the heartwarming moment was a viral video showing 7-year-old Jayden Contreras, who is not related to the catcher, being surprised by his parents with tickets to see the Cubs play live for the first time. A diehard Cubs fan, Jayden broke down in tears when he received the news, and he again displayed plenty of emotion when he had the chance to meet Willson, his favorite baseball player, prior to Thursday's contest.
