Former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested on Thursday night.

Cutler was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee, for DUI-first offense, failure to exercise due care to avoid a collision, implied consent, and possession of a handgun while under the influence.

Cutler was booked into the Williamson County Jail. He posted a $5,000 bond and was released later that night.

The 41-year-old spent eight seasons with the Bears, compiling a 52-52 record.
