Allen Robinson reportedly makes decision on 2021 season |
The Chicago Bears will have one of their best playmakers for the 2021 season.
Receiver Allen Robinson has reportedly accepted his franchise tag according to multiple reports on Thursday evening. He will make $18 million for the season while they still try to discuss a long-term deal before the July 15 deadline. The 27-year-old had 102 catches for 1,250 yards and six touchdowns last season. In seven seasons, Robinson has 457 catches for 5,999 yards and 39 touchdowns in 88 career games. He was selected in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Just now on @670TheScore @BradBiggs said that he thinks the stale WR market the #NFL has right now had more to do with Allen Robinson signing the franchise tag than the Bears talking to Kenny Golladay did in spurring that on.
