Report: Eagles expected to trade Carson Wentz soon, Bears interested

by - Senior Editor -

The Philadelphia Eagles are ready to trade quarterback Carson Wentz in the next few days, according to a report by ESPN.

The Eagles' asking price is a package similar to what the Lions got for Matthew Stafford: two first-round picks, a third-round pick this year, and Jared Goff.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Bears are one of the two teams that are making the biggest push for Wentz.

"Amongst the teams that have expressed some level of interest in Wentz are the Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts, sources told ESPN, though other teams also have called to gauge the market and see what a package for the Eagles quarterback would look like."

In 2020, Wentz threw for 2620 yards with 16 touchdowns and 15 interceptions for a QBR of 49.6.

This should be an interesting next few days with the Super Bowl and the impending quarterback trade of Wentz, who could land in the Windy City.
