It appears that Addison Russell will be moving up to the major league club.
According to multiple reports, Russell will be activated tonight before Wednesday's game against the Marlins. Other roster moves might take place tonight include possibly involving an injured Ben Zobrist and Daniel Descalso. If he ends up playing tonight, it will be interesting to see the reaction from Cubs fans since his 40-game suspension for violating the domestic abuse policies by the major leagues. Look for two roster moves from the Cubs today. I’m hearing Zobrist and Descalso to the IL. Addison Russell will be one of the players activated.
