Report: Kyle Hendricks close to signing with AL team

The last member of the Cubs 2016 World Series team is close to being on the move.

Chicago Cubs veteran pitcher Kyle Henricks is close to signing a one-year deal with the Angels, according to multiple reports.

No word yet on the financials.

In 2014, Hendricks had his toughest season as a pro, posting a 5.92 ERA and 1.45 WHIP over 130.2 innings with the Cubs.

Hendricks grew up in Southern California, so this would be a nice spot for him.

Best of luck to the 'Professor' as he tries to finish up a strong MLB career.
