Cubs Corner: Cubs offseason update, 2021 Predictions with Cubs' Core, Len Kasper, more

Anthony Pasquale Anthony Pasquale - Staff Writer -

In this edition of the Cubs Corner, Anthony recapped the Cubs’ offseason to this point and predicted what is next for the Cubs’ core.

This episode as always is brought to you by Coach’s Bar and Grill located at 6169 N Northwest Highway on the Northwest side. Keep an eye out for Coach’s, who are doing curbside pick up and delivery during these trying times.

Anthony begins the episode by reflecting on the Cubs' offense to this point — specifically what the Cubs have lost so far this offseason.

The Cubs have lost key players like Jon Lester, Tyler Chatwood, Jose Quintana, Jeremy Jeffress, Ryan Tepera, Kyle Schwarber, Jason Kipnis, and Albert Almora already this offseason.

Anthony then went over the Cubs’ biggest holes for the Cubs — the outfield depth, offense, and of course general manager and TV play-by-play broadcaster.

He also reflected on Len Kasper’s tenure with the Cubs and his multiple appearances on this show.

Before the episode ended, Anthony also gave his predictions for the futures of Kyle Schwarber, Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Javier Baez, and Willson Contreras and whether or not they will be Cubs in the foreseeable future.

As always this episode can be found on Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, and the CubsHQ website.
