Reliever Codi Heuer is set to play with the Iowa Cubs over the weekend. This indicates that Heuer is making progress in his recovery and is getting closer to returning to the Cubs. Reliever Dakota Hughes has resumed playing catch and is gradually building up his strength and working toward a full recovery. Edwin Ríos is DH again today for the Iowa Cubs during his rehab stint as he continues to make progress toward rejoining the Cubs.
