Cubs coach reportedly hired as new Orioles manager |
The Chicago Cubs will be looking for yet another coach this offseason.
Bench coach Brandon Hyde has accepted the Orioles managerial job on Tuesday according to multiple reports. He has been with the Cubs since 2014 as a bench coach this past season and in 2014 with Rick Renteria and also a first base coach from 2015-2017. This opens the door for possibly David Ross to return to the dugout for the Cubs as a bench coach. Stay tuned as it will be interesting to see who fills the vacant position. Good luck to Brandon Hyde w the Orioles. News broke as reporters were in with Theo. The only question for @grandparossy_3 is if he’s ready to get back in the dugout.
